What a delightful city, there is so much to see and do. The architecture is incredible and the scale of the buildings is mind-boggling. I am fascinated by the skyline at night. Today is my last day here, tomorrow I’ll be cycling into Malaysia. There are cyclists in the lodge I’m staying that have just finished their journeys so I am learning a lot and hearing amazing stories. I am so excited!

Hi. J and I arrived safely in Thailand after the journey through Malaysia by train to KL and then to Thai border by bus. Passage through Thai border smooth although they took us to an office aside to issue a landing visa. Officials wanted to see our Thai cash but assured us they would not need to count it. We suppose they want to ensure that people who enter have some liquidity. Officials pleasant and helpful. At Malaysia exit border/Thai entry there is a lane for two wheelers and drivers need to pay 10 Baht (the pictographs did not cover bicycles, only scooters and motor bikes)! Godspeed and Bon Voyage.
Hi Elred. Judy and I so enjoyed meeting up with you at Raffles. We leave at first light tomorrow on our epic train adventure up the peninsula and into Thailand. “Bon Voyage”
When I grow up i’m gonna be El! God speed x
Enjoy it Elred. We follow you.
