I flew Qatar airlines to Doha and thence to Singapore. As a cyclist from South Africa I highly recommend them. In and out of Africa you get 45kgs luggage allowance in Economy Class and your bike is included in this allowance. The planes are new, there is legroom, the food is good and the cabin crew are very friendly. Having said that, let me tell you my story.
On the flight to Singapore one of the cabin crew, a lovely lady from Burma/Myanmar called Ki Kie asked why I am visiting Singapore. I told my story and gave her one of my cards so she could follow my blog if she was interested. Some time later Ki Kie appeared at my seat and said, “Please follow me”. She led me to the galley where the team were assembled and this is what occurred – and it was delicious!
